More research on the massive gender divide in DC think tanks. Too few female scholars, too few female speakers, too many manels. Not addressed here but also an issue - pay disparity. It is 2019 in the nation's capitol, people. DC think tanks should do better!

Six months ago today, US resident and journalist Jamal Khashoggi was lured into an embassy and murdered by the Saudi government. Today, I introduced a bill to sanction those responsible. No person or country is important enough for the United States to ignore such a crime.

May not be a popular question, but it is a relevant question. Even protesters who don't really care about the cause can have an impact - increasing numbers, helping protests reach critical mass; but when they then go home and don't follow through, you have a problem.

Double sad to hear this. The original Wendy’s in my hometown of Columbus, OH was bulldozed for office bldgs. It had a great museum that was relocated somewhere. And when I was pregnant (in DC), the only thing I craved was a frosty. Being able to drive thru that Wendy’s saved me.
