Muslim communities are being urged to remain "vigilant and resilient" after 5 mosques have been attacked and vandalised in the last 24 hrs. Our deputy director asks if the govt have underestimated the vulnerability of Muslim communities given rise of far right extremism

We are extremely concerned about the unacceptable spate of attacks on mosques in Birmingham. Places of worship are meant to be safe places and hate crimes/vandalism against mosques will make Muslim people feel unsafe and frightened.

This is appalling on so many levels: it's not just UK govt ignoring GDPR rules (asylum seekers share sensitive info with Home Office to support their case); or UK govt breaking UK/EU law; it's also UK govt giving access to vulnerable asylum seekers to the regimes they escaped.
