It was wonderful meeting with 8th graders from the Blanchard School in Westford and the Imago School in Maynard on the Capitol steps today! They asked such thoughtful questions about how our government works. Our future is bright thanks to these young people!

100 years since the House passed the granting women the right to vote I had the honor of presiding over the chamber for the first time. I could feel the history & presence of all the women who came before me. And yes! Gaveling the House into recess was super fun.
