Hi Ria...we'd love to pass on your kind words to the staff who helped your mum. Any chance of a DM with details of where and when we were called? Thanks

A couple of weeks ago my mum started to have chest pains, two of your lovely colleagues came out, ran some tests and suggested a trip to New Cross where is turns out she’d had a heart attack - thank you

Absolutely disgraceful. An was attacked last night while paramedics treated a woman inside. They are here to help our community! have arrested a man, 19, in connection with the incident.

It’s definitely a busy role, with no two shifts the same & no two calls the same, can be quiet one minute and manic the next!! Glad I made the move though! A rewarding role at times though can be frustrating at times with hoax calls etc

most of the patients we see with chest pain are not having a heart attack, though some are. There are lots of possible causes of pain in the chest, from a pulled muscle, to an infection. We can do lots of tests in the ambulance, but some will require hospital 🚑🏥

My next 2 days I’m spending with various colleagues from across the Trust being trained as a Mental Health First Aider. The course promises to be a challenging one but hopefully will help us all to have a better awareness of our own mental health and how to support others

Back in the office for one more night shift before 8 glorious rest days. The theme of last night's shift seemed to be "persuasion", as a few of our patients were reluctant to come to hospital when it was important for them to be assessed there. I wonder what tonight's will be?

Great to see so many amazing machines, it amazes me how people are prepared to spend thousands on their motorcycles but not prepared to Even pillions need appropriate gear

My colleague took a call today that was graded as a C1 our highest priority. When the crews got there, it turned out to be a hoax. We had 4 vehicles going to this call, three arrived before hoax was confirmed. It is never funny to phone 999 if help is not needed.

Meet student paramedics Shah and Leon. Both at different stages of their journey, today they've worked as a team to: Extricate a patient who couldn't walk; Administer intravenous pain relief; Refer a vulnerable patient to our Safeguarding team for further care And much more! 🚑
