Since the β€˜90s, NASA has sent a series of robotic spacecraft to the Moon. These spacecraft have transformed our understanding of our neighbor - from analyzing a very thin atmosphere to identifying water ice at the poles to mapping the lunar gravity field.

If you're on the Moon, you'll see the Earth rotate because the Earth rotates much faster than the Moon. The Earth completes a rotation every day and the Moon completes a rotation every 28-29 days.
