The Rosenstein crisis is all about the erosure of democratic norms. The President can replace the deputy Attorney General with a yes-man who’ll block the investigation into him. But he shouldn’t. Not in the cosy, liberal, ethically-self-regulating democracy we thought the US was.

Rosenstein is the guy who oversees Mueller, who is the guy investigating Trump.
Only Rosenstein has the power to sack Mueller, but now Trump can appoint his own guy to that role. Yeah. twitter.com/axios/status/1…
