Logistical shift to BEY relies on mutual deterrence between LH and IDF. But will it continue to hold?

Short thread of pics from my trip to the Iranian materiel display. Closeups of the KL type rifles. Dot peen serials. Rubbery grip, ugly furniture. Very Type 56ish.

May be a propulsion section from Toophan-type ATGM. Stamped steel, rivet construction. Interesting they use color-coded wiring and multi-pin connector. Likely IEI sourced. More sophisticated than wiring harness found on a Ghods UAV.

Both Air Force operational IL-76 active in a reversal of normal roles. YK-ATD, which normally flies the Damascus - al-Qamishly run, made two roundtrips (November 28 and 29) to Tehran/Mehrabad, , while YK-ATB (normally the Tehran flier) did the al-Qamishly run.

So IRIAF had 5-8103 and EP-CPQ (5-8310) perform flypast with mixed formation F-4E and F-14A combat aircraft. Really has the look and feel of a unique, vintage warbird event.

8/8 Incident involving assembly of 150 farmers in remote, undeveloped location near Qarneh, resulted in vandalism. (Not included above headcount) Singular source imagery depicting very small merchant strike, trucker assembly emerged from disparate location but remained ambiguous

7/8 Above cited farmer protest noteworthy for protester use of IRI flag. This and a related banner usage of expletive specific directed specifically towards Rouhani, suggestive of conservative political base for this protesting group.

6/8 Shush protest involves Haft Tapeh sugar factory workers, where previous peak protester headcount was ~250; this period down to ~120. If total workforce figure for this facility is accurate at 4000, only 3 to 6.25% of personnel are actually engaging in street protests.

This process is time consuming and results in tangible evidence. Moreover, for a longterm 'pioneering' policy to take root, possession/ownership of land/housing usually required. This civil process also time consuming, resulting in tangible evidence

Looking for evidence, confirmation beyond MEMRI / JPOST. National ID cards are official proof of ID & nationality inside Syrian Arab Republic. MEMRI claim of "perhaps tens of thousands" would require expanded application processing & production of cards.
