Governor Gretchen Whitmer 19 ಗಂ.
We’ve seen ugly, racist attacks against & other congresswomen of color coming from the White House this past week. What Michiganders & people across the country want are leaders that will solve problems and that celebrate the diversity that makes our country strong.

This 47-year-old bridge in Ferrysburg carried 6,000 vehicles a day before its indefinite closure earlier this year, and is in serious condition. It’s time for real action to fix our crumbling infrastructure.

It's been 130 days since we introduced the , and the legislature still hasn't offered any real solutions to the problems Michiganders face. Michiganders deserve good roads, clean drinking water, a good public education, and a path to opportunity. Let's get it done.

Are these examples a little ridiculous? Of course – because the fact that we have been waiting for 128 days for a comprehensive budget that actually solves the problems that our state is facing is absolutely ridiculous. You deserve more from your state government.

School’s out! Summer vacation for our kids, who work hard in school all year, lasts about 70 days. On a related note, our legislature has only convened for 34 voting days and chose to go on vacation instead of doing their job and passing the budget.

On average, it took the early settlers 126 days to cross the Oregon Trail. We don’t need to cross a river in a wagon, but we do need to pass a budget that sets our communities up for success.

It took 21 days for Queen to record Bohemian Rhapsody. Maybe the legislature should carry on as if SOMETHING really matters, because we could have recorded this classic 6 times and still not have a budget solution.

It takes 6 days to get to the moon and back… so we could have visited 21 times! We’d have moon rocks, but not a comprehensive budget solution.
