I visited Balvenie Castle, Dufftown, yesterday. Originally known as Mortlach, it was built in the 12th century by a branch of the powerful Comyn family and extended and altered in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Well he can't be called Thomas, because that is too normal. They'll have to call him Donald, Prince Donald.

Years ago i visited the Masia Bach winery near Barcelona. It was created by a couple of Jewish tailors who had grown rich making military uniforms during the First World War!

Of all the items I have seen over the last few years this stands out. The unsmoked cigarettes carried by Pte Ted Ambrose when he was mortally wounded on the Somme in 1916. They were returned to his mother after his death and kept locked away for a century.
