She is talking about the few selected items the police showed her: 1) the preps story, 2) his private journal, that he shared with no one. (It’s pretty clear Eric didn’t see it either—so by your logic, Eric knew nothing about him.)

I looked it up. Page 4. She said, "we'd never seen that paper”—referring to the 1 story. Find me a place she says they never saw anything Dylan wrote.

ICYMI: , author of "Columbine" & "Parkland: The Birth of a Movement" says, "We've learned to take threats seriously. It's difficult to pick out the kid who is going to do this, except for one thing, it's this astonishing fact, most kids tell us they're going to do it"

I read Sue Klebold's book and don't think she was attempting to remove blame from anyone. It was very honest.

If memory was perfect, that statement would have some meaning here. But human memory is incredibly fallible--far less reliable than most of us believe. Most people have different recollections. Sue remembers it one way, Judy another--ie, her truth.

There is no transcript of the basement tapes. Only partial. But I have spent hundreds of hours with psychological experts who watched them repeatedly, and Eric--who bragged about his lying incessantly--expressed just a few moments of remorse. Far, far less than Dylan.

Dr. Robert Hare literally wrote the book on psychopathy, and created The Psychopathy Checklist, which defines the condition. When I asked him about that idea that you can't diagnose someone after they're dead, he laughed. Every expert on the case agreed Eric was a psychopath.

I have no idea where you got that idea, but it is not at all true. Both sets of parents were heavily involved with the kids and their schoolwork. They certainly were not reading every assignment every day, though--or probably anything close to that.

No. They created a short fictional film for video class called "Hitmen For Hire," where they were hired as hitmen, where they carried fake guns, but not shooting people. I taught creative writing and that's the sort of thing teens write about all the time.

A local radio station asked me to do a last-minute segment, and I agreed. 10 seconds to air, the producer asked me to keep my answers to 20 seconds. I silently said, “No thank you.” What’s the point of that? I’ll volunteer my time to do you show, but not to be stupid.
