Today’s Edinburgh Castle and Palace of Holyrood House Guards are furnished by F Company, Scots Guards who were led out by the Pipes and Drums of the 4th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland. The ceremonial guards are part of ‘Royal Week’.

It was with much sadness that we have been informed that our friend, & member of the VC & GC Association William (Bill) Speakman VC, has passed away at the Royal Hospital Chelsea with his family at his side. A true hero, gentleman, & giant amongst men, he will be sadly missed.
