It is best practice to render parts of a model as you develop it. This lets you optimize the appearance of the model but is faster than performing a high-quality render. Open a view, and position the camera and target in a space. Use the Render Setup dialog box to set properties such as output size, render quality, and noise filtering. Finally, render the model and then examine it to see where you want to adjust it.

To isolate an area of a mesh, select the area, and then choose Isolate Element.
