How can I get Adobe Photoshop Sketch?

Sketch for iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone, Android device, and Chromebook is available as a free download through the iTunes App Store and Google Play.

Sketch is currently available in English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Polish.

Do I need to own Adobe Ink and Slide to use Sketch?

No. Sketch is built to work with Adobe Ink and Slide, but you don’t have to own this hardware in order to use Sketch. You can draw in Sketch using your finger or another stylus and the built-in digital ruler.

Does Sketch support other pressure-sensitive pens?

Yes. In addition to support for Ink, Sketch also supports the latest pressure-sensitive pens from Wacom, Pencil by FiftyThree, and Apple Pencil.

Apple Pencil is the only stylus that Sketch supports on the iPad Pro.

Do I need a Creative Cloud account to use Sketch?

You need either a free or paid Creative Cloud membership. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a free Creative Cloud membership. If you're using a Google Chromebook, create an Adobe ID if you don't have one and then login.

Can I access Line artwork in Sketch?

Yes. If you created drawings in Illustrator Line, all of your drawings are available in Sketch. You can import them by tapping Settings > Import Projects.

How do I add or edit a project?

You can group sketches into projects. Within a project, you can reorder the sketches or rename the project.

To add a new project, tap the + icon located on the left bar. A new project with five blank

To edit a project, tap the Edit icon located on top of the project bar.

Tap the name to rename the project.
Drag the handles to reorder the drawings within the project.

On what devices can I use watercolor brushes?

Watercolor brushes are available on the following devices:

iPad Pro
iPad Mini 2
iPad Mini 3
iPad Mini 4
iPad Air
iPad Air 2

Watercolor brushes are not available in Sketch on the iPad 2, iPad 3, or iPad 4.

How do I delete sketches from a project?

In a project, tap the Edit icon.

Tap a sketch to select it. You can also select multiple sketches.

Click the Delete icon.

How do I share a project on Behance?

From the project banner, click the Share icon.

Click Continue to Share to display drawings from the current project.

Tap Edit to add or remove drawings. You can also add other files from Creative Cloud, Camera Roll, or even take a picture using the camera. Tap Continue.

Select a cover image and tap Continue.

Enter the information and tap Publish.

How do I use perspective grids in Sketch?

You can now use perspective grids and graph grids from Line in Sketch.

Tap the shapes icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Select the Settings icon by tapping the wrench icon.

In the Settings menu, tap Enable Grids.

Tap the left-arrow graphic to close the Settings menu.

Tap anywhere on the screen to close the Shape menu.

Tap the gridded square in the lower-left corner of the screen to select Two Point Perspective or Graph Grids.

How do I add my color themes from Creative Cloud Libraries?

You can use Color themes created using the Adobe Color app to specify the color for each drawing tool.

Tap a brush in the toolbar.

Click the Color circle to open the Color Themes panel.

Select My Library to display the color themes you created and saved to your Creative Cloud libraries.

Tab Change Library to select a specific Creative Cloud library.

How do I use brushes from Creative Cloud Libraries?

You can add Photoshop brushes to Creative Cloud Libraries or create new brushes using the Adobe Capture CC mobile app. These brushes can be used in Adobe Photoshop Sketch.

Long press any brush in the toolbar to launch the list of brushes available in Sketch.

Select My Library from the menu options to view the list of custom brushes you created and saved to your Creative Cloud libraries.

Click Change Library to select a different Creative Cloud library.

Once you've located the brush you want to use, click it to place it on your toolbar.

Photoshop brushes in Sketch are compatible with the following devices: iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, and iPad Pro.

How do I add assets from Creative Cloud Market?

You can download an asset from Creative Cloud Market, add it to a Library, and place it on your drawing.

Tap the Add Image icon.

Choose Market.

Browse locate an asset and then click Download.

Choose a Creative Cloud Library. You can also create a library.

Click Open. The asset is placed in your drawing.

You can adjust the layer opacity using the opacity sliders on the layers.

How do I upload a project / drawing to Creative Cloud?

To send a project/drawing to Creative Cloud:

Click the Share icon at the top of the screen.

Click Send to Creative Cloud.

The file is uploaded to your Creative Cloud Libraries.

How do I send a drawing to desktop?

If required, you can send a drawing to Photoshop CC or Illustrator CC for further editing or finishing.

Click Share.

Click Send to Photoshop or Send to Illustrator.

Photoshop or Illustrator will launch and open the drawing. You must be signed in to Creative Cloud for desktop, and have the appropriate app installed on your computer.

How do I change the location of the toolbar?

Click the Sketch icon in the upper-left corner of the screen to launch the Settings menu.

Select Settings > Preferences.

From the Preferences menu, select the toolbar location—left or right—to set the position of your drawing toolbar.
