Pricing questions we hear alot
- What is a visit?

A visit is a measure of the traffic your site gets in a given day. We add them all up for a month, and that’s how we calculate traffic. In our opinion it’s the most fair way to measure how many server resources your site will need. For more information, see the Flywheel help.
- Could you help me choose a plan?

- Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time. We make it easy to upgrade (or downgrade) plans. For instance you can start on the Personal plan, and upgrade to the Professional plan as your site gains more traffic.
- Is there a discount for yearly payment?

Absolutely! If you sign up for annual payments on Flywheel, you will receive one month of service for free.
- What credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). For annual payments we can also invoice you for payment by check, and accept PayPal for users who have issues with their cards.
- Why should I pay for managed hosting?

The beautiful thing about managed WordPress hosting, is that Flywheel handles all the nasty bits of hosting, and allows you to get back to doing what you do best – designing and building great websites. We take care of all the details around performance, security and updates, meaning you don’t need to configure anything to have a site that flies!
- Why don't you offer unlimited ?

Because nothing in life is truly unlimited, regardless of what the other guys say. At Flywheel we set fair and reasonable limits, and are transparent about what they are. :)
- What is your refund / cancellation policy?

With Flywheel there are no contracts, and we never lock people in. All plans on Flywheel are either month-to-month or annual, and can be canceled at any time. For full details, see the Flywheel Help.
- Do you offer email accounts?

We do not offer email accounts. At Flywheel we believe in using best-of-breed providers for all of your hosting needs. We’re experts at making WordPress sites super fast and secure, and we recommend you host email with a company that does the same for email. We recommend Google Apps for email, and have a handful of other companies listed in the Flywheel Help.
