CoinGate Challenges

The challenges are mostly riddles and quests that aim to test your knowledge in a range of topics, particularly in Bitcoin history and technology, cryptography, and steganography. Of course, to keep things competitive, there are awards!

Each challenge has the same goal: to gain access to a Bitcoin address by obtaining its private key, a wallet seed, or by other means.

You do have to be at least somewhat technical to have a shot at winning the prize behind each challenge, but you can also solve them for the fun of it (the recommended way).

The challenges will be held twice a month - most likely on the 1st and the 15th of each month. We encourage you to subscribe to our Challenge newsletter to get notified a few days in advance (no spam).
