Tenacity & patience is so, so important in a creative practice. Sometimes you just have to make a pile of crap & look for the diamond in it.

On the 4th of July I remind myself that America is a greater country than this nightmareish hellscape of an election cycle would indicate.

The thing is that receiving good grades while going to design school really only proves that you are very good at going to design school.

Design school shouldn't be about "right" & "wrong." It should be about developing modes of practice & inquiry & your relationship to them.
