    As one of my nearest breweries, I'm delighted to hear that are leading the trend of sticking with 500ml bottle sizes. Class act.

    Craft breweries take note. We want our bottles and cans bigger, longer, wider, fatter! Less is less.

    Not sure of the connection here. Smaller bottles benefit their staff to a greater extent than they simultaneously inconvenience customers?

    I would say a businesses first obligation is to their staff, then to their customers.

    Call me old-fashioned, but isn't the end BUYER the most important? AKA - the customer? (Especially when there's an established buyer base!)

    they had to choose between 330/500 when upgrading their line & 330 is more convenient for end seller.

    330ml fits in all my glassware better then 500ml so I don't mind the marginal relative increase 🤓

    So why change in the first place? If they know they can't offer us as good a deal?

    a 330ml bottle can't be sold at the same price/L as 500ml due to > packaging cost/L.

    Morrisons. 4 Craft (330ml) or Trad (500ml) for £6. You can mix & match. If u buy 4 Craft, that's 1320ml of beer for £6. 4 Trad - 2000ml !

    Don't we look to the craft movement for something different? Something 'not of' the big bad guys? It's depressing to see them copy.

    But the big boys have always done it. It seems more 'against the grain(?)' for craft to partake.

    Yes - this is the knock on effect. I am rediscovering some old favourites simply because they remain in 500ml bottles. Won't be conned.

    t'is true to say they're no longer my supermarket purchase of choice. Proper Job + Oakham Citra now for me.

    v good. Stopped buying their bottles since, loved the size & wd have paid more for. Still buy their cask tho

    We see this in Germany. Market is used to paying little for 500ml. Or, hey, pay more for a 33cl? No thanks!
