  • Tile based Geographical Data Visualization

    Telerik Map for ASP.NET AJAX lets you load maps from different Web Map Tile Services by using a tile layer. This demo shows a sample configuration for a few free providers that you can see in the code-behind.

  • GeoJSON standard Data Visualization

    RadMap is not limited to describing geographic features only. By using Shape layers bound to GeoJSON data, RadMap can display both geographical and custom shapes making the control useful for a wide spectrum of scenarios. The Telerik ASP.NET AJAX Map allows you visualize anything from countries and continents to movie theaters and stadium plans.

  • Markers

    The markers are defined by their geographical position on the map and can show useful information to the user in a tooltip. There are two marker types shipping out-of-the-box or you can customize them according to your scenario.

  • Cross Layer Integration

    You can combine all three MapLayer types: Tile, Shape and Marker, to achieve a complex scenario showing a map, a route from point A to point B, plus a marker showing additional info about a chosen item.

  • Mobile and Touch Support

    Telerik Map for ASP.NET AJAX is mobile friendly behaving as expected on smaller screens. It also offers touch, zoom and pan capabilities.

  • Data Binding

    Codelessly bind the Telerik ASP.NET Map to the data source that best matches your project needs. The control supports binding on the server and the client (Web service, WCF service) using built-in or custom providers.

  • Rich Client-Side and Server-Side API for Maximum Flexibility

    To implement advanced and specific scenarios, take advantage of the public methods, properties, and events found within Telerik ASP.NET Map control. Almost all user actions raise an event providing all the arguments you need, both on the client and the server.

  • Accessibility and Internationalization

    RadMap was built for compliance with major accessibility standards, such as W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. For international applications, use global or local resources to completely localize the control.
