We pay tribute to the ingenious (and stomach-churning) ways that parasites hook up with hosts in our Parasites episode. Case in point: the parasitic nematode, which turns an ant's rear end into a ripe-looking red morsel that, to a hungry bird, looks like a juicy berry.

So, how's the baby doing?
I loved this topic especially the hookworm's! My son was diagnosed 1 year ago with moderate/severe Crohn's and IBD and has gone through a very rough patch. He has missed so much school and has had to miss games and practices. The worst part is when he has a flare or get's an infection and has to be on super strong antibiotics that I am very against because of their danger. Along with super strong infusions of Remicade and now Methotrexate has been added to his regimen. If I knew these hookworm's would give him a normal life free of pain/discomfort and pharmaceutical medicine's I seriously consider looking into this treatment. Can you get me the information to the gentlemen who are mailing out the hookworm kits?
God Bless,
Kim
