On October 4th, Princeton University physicist F. Duncan Haldane was awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the topological properties of condensed matter. In 1984, early in his career, Dr. Haldane received a Sloan Research Fellowship in recognition of his potential to contribute significantly to his field.
