Born in LA, but raised in Tucson, AZ, Alexis is a Desert Rat/Concrete Jungle hybrid. When she's not trying to recruit software engineers, she's chasing her one year old around, going to the beach, or perfecting her Michelada recipe.
Ashley is a literature and Spanish student turned programmer, and Code Climate's first junior developer. A recent graduate of Dev Bootcamp, Ashley is excited to get involved in New York's Ruby community. Quirky interests include bridge, running and all things ornithological.
The creativity of Bryan's coworkers has finally forced him to replace his corporate speak bio. At Code Climate, he holds the records for taking the site down accidentally the most times and also having written the most code in that had to be rewritten later because it was horribly broken. As a converted New Yorker, he aspires to someday be able to cook like David Chang and mix cocktails like Phil Ward.
Beginning with his TI-83 calculator, Chris has written software across a variety of languages and frameworks and found one constant: the need for robust, reliable code. When not honing his programming chops, he enjoys playing guitar, watching baseball, and wandering around Brooklyn.
Originally from the nation's capital, Devon is brand new to New York following eight years studying and working in the Windy City. Growing up in the Great White North, Heather was the loudest kid on the block. She is delighted to have found her calling as an entrepreneur and lawyer in NYC, where she is always just the right decibel. When not running operations at Code Climate, Heather can be found trying her hand at new recipes and sneak-attacking vacations.
A native of the City of Brotherly Love, Jenna now happily calls New York home. She's a people person and passionate problem solver, which is probably just as well, given her role as Code Climate’s Customer Experience Lead. Jenna’s spare time is spent indulging her oenophilia, wanderlust, and adorable canine companion.

Kurt moved to NYC for the second time in 2006 after living in Boston, Seattle, and Washington, DC. His professional adventures include startups in the cross-platform mobile development, open-source NoSQL database, virtualization and cloud automation spaces. Kurt's personal interests include architecture and history plus music and sports.
Max grew up in the suburbs of New York and is still excited to live in the city. After college he wanted to be a screenwriter, but didn’t love the available tools, so he tried to make a better one, and then just became a programmer instead. When he’s not writing code, he likes to go to fun vegetarian restaurants and see comedy shows.

It's been featured by Apple as one of the Best New Apps and covered by BuzzFeed, The Next Web, and Wired. Past projects include Readability, Thomson Reuters, and Beatport mobile.
MRB is obsessed. He is a Washington, DC based hobbyist computer scientist and professional programmer who spends his spare time collecting records, cooking for his family, and trying to solve one of life's greatest mysteries: How Computers Work. He is Code Climate's first employee and believes thoroughly that good tools can help bring humanity back to programming.
Michelle is a Southern California native who found her way to the better coast, the East Coast, in April 2016. She comes from a sports background of business implementation and streaming development processes. She loves a good book, family and friends time, attending sporting events, and any body of water she can find – she is there! Overall, she is passionate about her work and tackles every day with a smile. :)

Noah wrote a program once to catalog his parents' LaserDisc collection. LaserDiscs did not catch on, but the programming part stuck. He's dabbled in a half dozen different languages, worked in and attempted to rescue many codebases with unpublishable GPAs and has been an active contributor to open source software (especially Oink). He has since replaced his LaserDisc collection with Blue Ray discs, which are totally going to catch on.
Noah was tweaking computers in the basement of his childhood home before he could speak coherent English - seriously. His notable engineering "features" are fluency in a slew of stacks and languages and a propensity to dance at his desk. When not authoring meticulously-crafted code, he can be found biking aimlessly around his native city or satisfying his inner political junkie.
Pat Brisbin is an author and self-taught Software Engineer obsessed with producing correct code. When not using Test Driven Development to keep Ruby's dynamic nature in check, he can be found loudly trying to convert everyone at Code Climate to Haskell.
Scott became curious about Python while working around a team of data scientists and hasn’t looked back. He likes to think of himself as the foremost hummus aficionado on the entire eastern seaboard. He also likes to think that he’s a pretty good juggler, but has yet to graduate to four objects and has broken more things while juggling than he likes to admit.
Todd grew up in the friendly flatness of the Midwest where his obsession with both music and computers were born. After a 7 year layover in Los Angeles, he has settled here in NYC to contribute to Code Climate's goal of making the world of code a better place in which to live. If you see him around, say hi. Be forewarned, however, that he's probably going to talk to you about functional programming.
