Protection Against Cyber Threats
Cyber breaches are an increasing threat, affecting millions of people, and the consequences for victims can be far-reaching. For example, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in 2015 discovered two cybersecurity incidents involving the theft of sensitive personal data of more than 21 million current, former, and prospective Federal employees and contractors. Some of these victims were Boeing employees and retirees. Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential service designed to connect Boeing employees and their families with experienced counseling professionals for help with personal and family issues. It provides up to six counseling sessions per issue, per calendar year, at no cost to employees or their eligible dependents.
The program also offers WorkLife referrals such as childcare, eldercare, and other community referrals. Additionally, limited legal and financial advice is available, as is access to helpful online articles.

Employees can contact TotalAccess by calling 866-473-2016 with their BEMSID and TotalAccess password and when asked, "How may I help you," speak the service needed, such as "Discount Program," "Savings," Learning Together Program," or "Pension." Employee/Retiree Change of Address
Current Boeing employees
Update home address in the employee portal or call TotalAccess at 1-866-473-2016.
Retirees, former employees, beneficiaries, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) and individuals living outside the United States
Update home address as follows:
- Call TotalAccess at 1-866-473-2016. You will need to provide your BEMS ID* and TotalAccess password.
- If you provide both your BEMS ID* and password, the TotalAccess Agent will update your home address for you.
- If you do not have your BEMS ID* and password, you must complete a Home Address Change Form:
- Mail or fax the completed form to TotalAccess.
- Once TotalAccess receives your completed Home Address Change Form, the TotalAccess Agent will update your home address for you. A new TotalAccess password will be mailed to you at your new home address. The password and your BEMS ID* are very important because you will be required to provide both whenever you use TotalAccess via the phone or external internet (www.boeing.com/express).

Power of Attorneys (POA)/Guardians/Conservators
Power of Attorneys (POA)/Guardians/Conservators must have an approved POA/Guardianship/ Conservatorship document on file with Boeing prior to submitting a home address change form on behalf of the principal.
- If you already have a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship on file and approved by Boeing, follow the same home address change instructions that are listed for “Retirees/Former Employees...”
- If you do not have a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship on file and approved by Boeing yet, you must go to the Power of Attorney website (www.boeing.com/poa) and follow the guidelines for submitting a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship first. Once approved, you may then proceed with the home address change by following the same instructions that are listed for “Retirees/Former Employees...”
*BEMS ID is an identification number assigned by Boeing to use in place of your social security number. If you do not know your BEMS ID, you must contact TotalAccess at 1-866-473-2016 and say "BEMS ID" when prompted. You must have your BEMS ID prior to submitting a home address change form.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only record one home address with the company. That address is used for payroll/payment purposes, company mailings, TotalAccess password mailings, and to determine tax location and benefits (if applicable). If you carry health insurance through Boeing, changing your home address to another state could alter the benefits.
Power of Attorney
There may come a time when a Boeing employee, former employee, or beneficiary is no longer able to manage their affairs or wants to allow another individual access to their Boeing records. Should this be the case, Boeing would require proper documentation authorizing this request. Acceptable forms of authorization are a Power of Attorney, Guardianship, or Conservatorship.

State of Washington
Current Washington Residents without a valid Guardianship or Conservatorship:
If you live in the state of Washington and do not have a current Guardianship or Conservatorship established, we ask that you complete and submit a new Boeing Specific Power of Attorney. This document is a checklist that gives Boeing clear direction on what authority you wish to grant to the named individual. This document can be submitted in lieu of a current Power of Attorney. Your signature will either need to be notarized or verified by two witnesses in order for the document to be valid. You can print the form by selecting this link.
Current Washington Residents with a valid Power of Attorney, Guardianship or Conservatorship:
If you currently have a valid Power of Attorney, Guardianship, or Conservatorship, Boeing will accept the documentation. The documentation must indicate what authority has been given to the "agent" with respect to your Boeing benefits including the authority to change your address. The documentation must be reviewed and approved before access will be granted to your "agent". As an alternative you may submit the simplified Boeing Specific Power of Attorney Form.
Boeing will only accept the following types of documentation:
- Durable Power of Attorney
- General Power of Attorney
- Financial Power of Attorney
- Conservatorship
- Guardianship
Boeing will not accept:
- Power of Attorney for Healthcare
- Trust Documents
- Authorization to Release Information
Things to Know:
Some things you can do to ensure your request is approved in a timely manner:
- Review the document you are submitting to verify when it is effective. The document may state that in order to become effective, the Participant must be incapacitated. The document will provide the requirements for proof of incapacitation. Usually one or more letters are needed from a physician to prove incapacitation. If that is the case, Boeing will need a copy of the physician statement(s).
- If the Primary Attorney In Fact is deceased, please provide a copy of the death certificate.
- If the Alternate Attorney In Fact is replacing the Primary there will be additional documentation required. Please review the document you are submitting to see the specific requirements. For example it may require a letter from the Primary relinquishing authority or a letter of Revocation of Authority.
