About me: I started shooting with a twin lens reflex in 1958 and shared my father's example in the darkroom. I always wanted photography to be a serious (and time consuming) hobby, not a job. That said, my professional life gave me the opportunity to know the work of pros from photography to publishing. I saw them using Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, Quark Express, Acrobat and so on. I made the plunge to digital photography in 1999, and soon looked from the right software for me. I started with Elements 2 and albums, then followed with versions 4, 5, 6 then 10 and all subsequent versions. I was also particularly interested in the Organizer which did fit exactly my needs (I had to create myself most of my logistics softwares, so the database and catalog idea was quite natural). Elements is considered a 'consumer' product in the middle of a host of other 'pro' softwares. I consider it is more than that and I take pleasure in helping others together with a few very competent and hepful mvp/acps. I don't care much personally with my being chosen for the 'Hall of Fame', but if that serves as a spotlight to enhance the Elements software, I am happy.

Whether troubleshooting or instruction, I hope to make things easier for the new users or even old hands needing guidance. The best thing is knowing I got someone back to making their deadline or concentrating on what they excel in with Adobe Software.
