We’ll see what the district does to them, if anything.

Then we’ll see what the district does to any of its employees who are, for example, discovered to go to the AR or NPI conferences.

As I Figured

Lyda Krewson’s first two TV buys.

I kinda figured that she’d spend most of her public campaigning about ZOMG GUNS~!!!!!1!1!1.  It’s an easy consequence-free target, and it’s the best way to keep the racial angst under wraps.

As you saw in the second buy, she threw in ZOMG BIG TOBACCO~!!!!1!11! for good measure.  That might not play as well on the north side.

Bob Holden makes a cameo in the second buy; she and Krewson have something in common, besides political party:  They were both victims of black violent crime in the city.

Stray Voltage 2.0

24 01 2017

Washington, D.C.

I think I figured out Sean Spicer is up to with yammering about crowd sizes and TV ratings yesterday, and about illegal aliens voting and other illegally-cast votes today.

It’s a Trump-era reboot of the stray voltage maneuver that David Plouffe invented for (sorry, but I just can’t get enough of this phrase) (now-) former President Obama.

The difference is that Plouffe wanted to push an issue to the forefront of consciousness, to hell with the truth of the details.

I think what Orange-Crowned God-Emperor and Spicer are up to is that they’re creating diversions that they know the media will feast over, in order to clown them.

He’s Gone to the Great Dayum in the Sky

Queens

The supposed founder and impresario of WSHH, one Lee O. “Q” Denat, is dead at the age of 43, heart attack.

For those of you who are relatively new, I have an unorthodox, probably out there in left field, borderline tinfoil-y theory about WSHH.

It’s based on the notion that video hosting websites take big iron, big pipes and big money.  Plain words, you just can’t start one and run a successful one while you’re a “Haitian ghetto nerd” running around in your parents’ basement clad only in your underroos fiddling around with an iPad.

I’m plenty Machiavellian, but I’m not filthy rich.  If I was filthy rich to go with Machiavellian, I would realize that everything the Alt-Right has been doing over the years to tell the truth about the black undertow isn’t amounting to much of anything in terms of real world push back. Aside from other reasons.  But then I would also realize that you can’t hurt your opponents as well as they can hurt themselves.

What if somewhere, there was an unheralded rich Alt-Right sort who one day figured out that we needed quit telling people who bad the black undertow is, and instead let the black undertow tell us how bad they are, one video upload at a time?  And what if said individual, operating from behind curtains and through intermediaries, found an ambitious young black man in Queens to be the front and public face of the operation?

I’m not saying this is true.  I am saying that I would not be surprised if this is what we found out one day.  If it’s true, then we’re about to find out, because Denat has moved on to his eternal reward.

The reason she won’t be fired is the reason she advanced so far as she did.  Shhh, don’t say affirmative action.

But I do wish her the best of luck in her future desk job with the Secret Service.

A Muslim immigrant’s limo.

And this was one of this crowd’s grinds against Trump, because Muslim immigration.

In related news, World War T is none too happy with this weekend’s festivities.  That’s just another salvo in the long-standing TransWomen vs TERF civil war.

If these people didn’t have us to hate, they’d be tearing each other to bits.

Orange-crowned God-Emperor could make progressivetard stack fall down go boom, without even really knowing what he’s doing.

They Left Their Hearts In San Francisco

24 01 2017

Sacramento

The Hill has this long spread about CA-GOV next year, with Lt. Gov. and former San Francisco Mayor Gavin “Any Twosome” Newsom as the favorite.

Something I’ve noticed is that as Los Angeles turns into Guatemala, the political heart of California now beats in the Bay Area instead of L.A.  It seems as if Bay Area politicians want L.A. to turn into Guatemala for that reason, and that, they realize, unlike a certain now-discredited consultant-donor class of a certain political party, there is no ZOMG GREAT HISPANIC VOTER TIDAL WAVE LOL~!!!!!1!1!1

From the article:

Conventional, if counterintuitive, wisdom in California holds that a Democrat with a political base in the San Francisco Bay Area holds an edge over a Democrat from the more populous Los Angeles area. Bay Area voters turn out at higher percentages and vote more reliably Democratic than Angeleno voters.

If the wisdom is conventional, then it’s recent, but not counterintuitive, for reasons I just described.

The most important California politicians since 2010?  Jerry Brown (Oakland), Kamala Harris (San Francisco), Dianne Feinstein (San Francisco), Barbara Boxer (Marin County, though late in her time in the Senate, she moved to the Palm Springs area officially).  And, the odds on favorite to replace Brown as Governor is the aforementioned San Franciscan, Mr. Newsom.
