| Issue 7652: | Ability to show toolbar programmatically when only 1 marker in interactive mode | |

The documentation states: "In a lite-mode map, the toolbar persists independently of the user's actions. In a fully-interactive map, the toolbar slides in when the user taps a marker and slides out again when the marker is no longer in focus." I would like to be able to show the toolbar on an interactive map when there's only 1 marker showing, rather than requiring the user to click on it, for a couple of reasons: -If you programmatically show an info window, the toolbar is not shown - the user wouldn't know to tap the (already selected) marker to show it. -In situations where the rest of the activity already only relates to one location (and the marker doesn't need an info window), the user wouldn't know to tap it An earlier request (by someone else) on StackOverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27690711/display-toolbar-for-google-maps-marker-automatically

Can you give an update on the status of this request as it is nearly a year since acknowledgement?

Would be nice to have this feature. I'm looking for it too. BTW, I'd also like to be able to customize directions options to make set the walk tab by default

+1 for this feature. Right now I have to create a (redundant) separat button for this action.
