I am so sorry for your loss! I teach Mathematics, and I would like to use your tweet to remind future Data Scientists that Big Data has very real human costs. Would it be alright if I posted your letter on my door and/or used it in a future course on technology ethics?

I honestly think she means it from a truly interested and wanting to help point of view. If others go thru this she could say, “You’re right, I heard about that; it’s terrible. The person who experienced it said she tried XYZ and found (blank) helpful”.

I'm being that person but, but, this is what her Insta says. "I do a
#365project, use Instagram for accountability (science says it works!)" It's an unfortunate situation but we we know how all this tech works. -
I would say instead of asking her, try doing some of those searches on your end and deleting them and seeing what works and what doesn't. Then you wouldn't have to bother somebody who is heartbroken, but also could see the results firsthand
