Responsibilities

• Organize and lead “Redis” focused meetups and hack events in key markets.
• Create and actively participate in “Redis,” “NoSQL,” and other open source discussions on forums including Twitter, Reddit, StackOverflow, etc.
• Identify, pitch and secure speaking opportunities for key technical experts within Redis Labs.
• Develop technical guides, documents, screencasts, and other materials for advancing Redis and Redis Labs knowledge.
• Disseminate knowledge over slideshare, blog posts, and other content production channels.
• Work with Marketing team to promote content through social media and demand generation channels.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team for meetups, webinars, sponsored events, and other marketing activities.

Requirements

• Past experience as a developer advocate for a leading software company and community engagement history - GitHub contributions, Twitter followers, MeetUp relationships, blog posts
• Technical depth and market credibility in developer circles
• Strong public speaking and writing skills
• Proven track record in writing technical blog posts, white papers and articles, preferably in the big data/database/NoSQL space.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a highly collaborative environment

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Redis Labs’ online marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is well-rounded: analytical, and metrics-driven.

Job Responsibilities: (SEM + Social Media + online campaigns)

• Develop effective display campaigns, including banner ads, social media, and retargeting. Develop a successful lead/opportunity acquisition strategy across search engines and PPC sources.
• Plan, deploy and optimize SEM programs to achieve growth: keyword discovery, keyword expansion, ad copy, ad grouping, landing page optimization, testing, and analysis.
• Analyze keyword trends and ROI of keywords.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5 years of experience executing and optimizing SEM campaigns with a proven ability to increase ROI
• Experience managing large scale, complex paid search campaigns. Hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
• Develop successful lead/opportunity acquisition strategy across search engines and PPC sources.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, analytics including tools like Google analytics, Marketo and SFDC

Main Responsibilities

• Help customers meet their technology and business requirements with Redis using Redis Labs products, solutions and services.

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales engineering for enterprise software, ideally data base.
• Good knowledge of Databases is a must
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience in software and/or a technologically relevant field
• Hands-on experience with OSs like Linux
• Experience engaging with different levels of developers and IT leaders in enterprises. Ability to read situations and create the rapport and the enthusiasm with prospects
