Puffin Web Browser is a security risk I really don't trust this app As soon as I logged into my Gmail account I got a security email from Google asking if a certain Linux device from Minnesota was me. Well that would be a big NO, because I live in Florida, not to mention the IP addresses was not even close. Everyone who has installed this app better go to there Google account settings and check to see what devices are connected to your account, because the one on mine was using a Linux os and Chrome browser and the ip address will be listed also.

I tried to figure out what was happening then I read a comment here and uninstalled it. Now the device isn't logged into my account. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!!! And check what devices may be logged into your gmail. I'm kinda scared. If there IS a good explanation for this I hope you can list it somewhere please. Thx.
Flash player on mobile! Seriously, I absolutely loooved this browser, no exaggeration. I mean, it's on the same level of google, but it's saving grace is that it can play flash. This opens up lots of possibilities to play things on mobile! Popular flash games like town of salem, y8, etc. Can all be played on this platform. If you like flash games you'll love this app. I just so happened to get addicted to town of salem a few weeks before my computer broke down, so this is perfect as I wait for repairs! I even made a fake account to post a review, as you can see by my nqme. Anywho, wonderful app, 10/10

Its To Laggy , Needs help on the game.. too I try to play things on it but it just lags out . I think it needs to be better but its still good I can Still play games on it like Movie Star Planet on the computer version and its fun and stuff but make it better please! Maybe its a slow when you try to load it just make it better...... Please..... I'm Trying to find a game that laods fast . But I'm still trying different games like Fire Fox and yeah... I like this game a lot

Actually it's slower than others? It seems decent and liked it, but so slow, opening image in google is slow wich makes it buggy. Tried missing with setting but no fix. Internet speed is good and other browsers works fine and faster. Tho it support flash very well. But the slowness made me hate my device 😐

Really glad to have found this app. This is a really great app. My only problem is that the trackpad cannot move certain things and that is a bit of a bummer. If it had the ability to drag and drop that would be super awesome. However, without the Puffin Browser I wouldn't have been able to play the game I enjoy at all.

Stop Worrying All the people who think this is a security risk. Well it's not. If you get a google security email its real. The browser running on there linux databases/devices. Also the app is great too. So what there from minnesota. Opening this browser opens a window on there linux databases/devices. Its perfectly fine this browser is a "Remote" browser so it runs remotely from your device and controls the linux dB's. Wish I could rate 25 stars
Holy crap. FAST. LUV IT. FASTEST!! FASTEST BROWSER EVER MADE BY FAR!!!!!! Never did a review for ANY app before, but this PUFFIN, is by far the fastest browser. Its actually like THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER PROPERLY SURFED THE WEB. EVERY THINGS INSTANT. AND I MEAN INSTANT. Something's wrong I learned of this browser from a gaming friend who also has an Android device. I've been using it for months now, and greatly enjoyed it. Until last week. Now my games that require Flash are freezing as soon as I start to play them. I wish it would go back to working normally, because I really liked it. I can still enjoy other websites, but it made playing my games away from my pc possible, and I came to rely on that.
it's bit laggy and touch screen hates clicking when I try tap and play games on site. but seems your guys are only one browser that works. tho I hope maybe you can fix that.. I cant scroll in to games it only moves the screen.. I try use mouse like paint and try to draw on screen it wouldn't let me it kept moving the screen only not the lines.. eh.. but hope you can fix that. tho I'm grateful to be able play games on sites not download them lol.
Reconnecting... I don't know what that whole disconnecting from the internet is about but it's damn annoying. If I can browse in all my other browsers I should ve able to with this one as well. Not only that but when it "reconnects" it refreshes the page you are on and all work is lost. I can't work like that. Updated to drop another star. I am uninstalling. I can't stand the disconnecting and reconnecting. Why does it have to refresh the page? Hate it.
I think it s worth mentioning.. People are freaking out saying this app causes security breach so i think you guys should say puffin is basically like proxy, IP bypass thingy and your server is 'remote' hence the whole Minnesota business
Fast on the web, but does not access LAN It was fine for the web, but I also wanted to access the interface of my Brennan B2 on my LAN and my own local sites on my notepad. Puffin cannot do this because it is a remote browser - websites you browse are actually running on its own servers. I have dropped it one star for this.
The app is amazing but the auto refresh is annoying The browser is nice to use. You can also use flash player and play flash vids or games, but for the love of god, can you please add an option to prevent the browser from automatically refreshing a tab? I play stuff like TOS here and in the middle of the game the network gets bad, but instead of waiting for it to work again, the browser automatically reloads. Please fix this
Crazy fast, but some issues As title says, browser is very fast. However, it keeps force closing. I reopen it and my tabs are still open, but it's frustrating to have it go to the home screen midway through reading something and then having to find where I was.
I have been using Puffin for many years, and so far, it has proven to be the most efficient and reliable browser I've tried of all others. However, I would like to suggest to the makers that it needs upgrading... It has been acting faulty lately; closing down abruptly, and losing connection... Perhaps it needs an upgrade.
I think 1/2 The best part is u can play anything like MSP cool math games and more. Butt the bad is when u on like 3 or more then it comes this thing that said oh u cant go so i deleted and get it again like plz dont do it ANYMORE but it still good
Puffin Sync does not let me sync my desktop Chrome with Puffin on my Android phone. I can find no way to import bookmarks into my Puffin browser on Android. If I cannot import my desktop bookmarks to Puffin then Puffin is useless to me. Going back to Chrome on my Android phone. Syncing bookmarks is something that should just work without any issues. It appears I am not the only one having this issue with Puffin.
Awesome app. Puffin is one of the best browser in the play store. Especially its cloud download is awesome. I always use puffin for cloud downloading. But its not user friendly. It is laggy, sometimes there is a page loading issue. Please update those issues and give us an awesome, lighting, and user friendly puffin browser
I loved it at first But until last night, the REQUEST DESKTOP VERSION SETTING STOPPED WORKING ON BOTH PUFFIN BROWSER APPS. PLEASE FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AND YES, I CLEARED MY COOKIES, CASHE, ETC, AND IT STILL IS NOT WORKING. PLEASE FIX ASAP. THANKS
Lagging Watching Videos Yo, this app is so good i can do whatever i like. Just like im using a PC, I can play facebook games or go onto sites which my default browser isnt capable of. But the only problem is it become too lag whenever I watch videos/movies and suddenly crush down. Please help me with my problem. Ill give you 5 stars right away then. TY

Good Hey! Really nice app! I only have to say that it is irritating that it won't let me post any pictures on my Facebook page, and it randomly leaves the app and to the home screen. Oh, and is there any way to turn off the game controller button in the corner? please let me know thanks! (≧▽≦)
Yes. This browser is faster than any other. Yes it supports flash and cloud downloads. But it's not my cup of tea as I don't feel in control with my browser. Old school UI bloated with forced ads and web pages are rendered on the cloud. Latter might interest low end device users, but if you have a flagship or mid range device, put it to good use with a better browser that has device rendering.
Some changes needed While downloading it does not shows the downloading speed and niether the percentage. Often gets stuck too. In respect too images, the quality feature is great but if we save any pic it gets saved in the lower quality. There should be an option to handle this. Beside this everything is awesome. Great surfing speed.
Helpful! Someone recommended this to me and I'm glad they did. This can also change your IP Address quickier than anything else which is a bonus point. There are a few lags, but not a simple refresh can't fix. Reliable too. A great app.
Android browser #1 but here is a problem! Something strange: video playback is on 2/3 of the screen on nexus 7 tegra 3 android 5.1.1. Browser is getting better and better with each update. By the way, after last update flash works better. Many thanks to developers. Keep up a good work.
I want a flash browser I am upset that this browser and dolphin are the only browsers that can run flash. I applaud you for it.ALL OTHER "FLASH" BROWSERS ARE LIERS. I went through all the browsers on the google store and they all suck. I just really wish you didn't clear out my tabs upon exit.

Almost perfect I have been looking for a browser that allows drag and drop for ages. One issue devs can you make it easier to drag from left to right it seems only possible from left hand which is tricky to do onscreen. So hold with left and drag with right thumb would be easier. Thanks
High battery consumption Not really impressed by its u.i. or the video player itself. Seems like it could be better, maybe the free version isnt all that? Idk but without knowing what paid is like , it makes me not want to step up .
Freezes sometimes while playing ad videos. The app freezes when playing any ad video which plays in flash. It is really irritating. I am using mi5 which is having 3 gb of ram and a 820 snapdragon processor. So there is no way its the hardware fault.
Runs flash perfectly! After installing and uninstalling several different apps, I finally found one that actually runs flash player! I am happy to say that it wonderfully runs games on Dolldivine, one of my favorite sites. You wouldn't even have to install premium, there's no bothersome ads getting in the way of everything you're trying to do. Overall, I'm very impressed with this app.
Very Good browser, but doesn't seem to allow me to download to external sd card. All the idiots complaining about the security issue needs to know that the data saving work by routing your traffic through puffin's servers so of course you are logging in from another machine.
Only one great feature. All in all, this is trash. It is slower than other browsers, its design is unattractive and it doesn't have any special features. Except one. Supporting plugins that are unsupported in other mobile browsers (ex: Flash). This is the only reason why I keep it on my phone.
Seriously, fix GPU rendering... Or at least make the app work with it, and not exit out immediately with a crash dialog. Otherwise, super fast browser and essential for bottom low end android devices... I've switched from Chrome to Puffin.
Loved it like any other browser Guys believe me this is the fastest browser among 4-5 famous browsers which i have used and you can think of. Web pages are delivered within a second even your data speed is slow. YOU WOULD FEEL LIKE YOUR INTERNET SPEED ITSELF IS FAST!!
Keeps refreshing! Can't be use normally like it used to. It's been months now when browser keeps refreshing site every 15-20 seconds... Removing and reinstalling doesn't help! Same for both, free and paid version. Very disappointing.....
Yay Now I can play animal jam XD although, the wicked fast part isnt entirely true, when i was trading on animal jam it suddenly stopped working even though i have strong wifi and i was right by the monitor. it takes a long time to download but that doesn't really matter.
Its just perfect. Its cool for all fans of uc browser. But its far more better. Just that when am using many tabs the previous tabs get blank and I have go refresh them when switching back to them. It gets me a little upset
