Perfect browser I haven't seen a browser better than opera. I dont use the inbuilt browser or chrome but I prefer this for two major reasons. First is that I can block ads and spam messages on opera mini browser and this browser keeps my phone safe. And second is that I can download streaming videos with speed . when i have to download any big file on wifi , I always prefer this browser. And i can also view banned websites . It saves data sometimes on extreme mode and you can switch back to normal mode. Its amazing.

Close to perfection This is an easy to use browser, although one thing should be added for a complete package; support for AMOLED screens (true black background with grey/white text) this would drastically improve SoT and battery altogether. I hope this will be added soon! Nevertheless this is (probably) the best browser to save data and for performance! Update: 4.1.2017 YouTube not loading properly.

Great, but suggestions. 1 Enable images to be displayed on the spot rather than in a new tab(tap to load image). 2 enable night mode automatically according to time. 3 Has problems when lots of cache gets collected. Text becomes invisible and can be seen after selecting only. 4 RSS reader should be improved

Latest update crashes randomly This new version seems to be quite unstable. I've had it crash multiple times randomly when loading a page. I have 6 tabs but when I sometimes switch between tabs the app will just shutdown with no warning. Could you please improve stability? Prior version worked without a hitch. Thanks.

No longer saves passwords. When I add a bookmark shortcut to my home screen that is a sign in page, my username and password are not saved. The ones I have added using previous versions of Mini still work. Yes, "Save Passwords" is turned on.

The New Start page is really fucked up Once I updated the app, I get the news with an image of child born with a huge flat head, a man with a weird foot, someone had an accident and his body is all open. WTF !!! I go to setting a select Business and Tech, what I have ? The same stuff and a lot od celebrity news generally. Not even a good ones, new ass new boobs, check X new bikini. I had to disable the news and I hope you to fix it, I loved when I had news from NYT Recode....., But it is all sick people, freaks, asses, boobs, bikinis !!!!

Perfect! I should have guessed Opera was the one to go for, but foolishly tried about 6 others first. Mostly slow, buggy, awkward. Opera mini blew them all away, and for a tiny 4mb download. Even this stripped-down version has EVERYTHING you'll need for a phone browser, and so FAST! thank you, thank you, thank you

Unreliable Big fan of the desktop app, but the mobile app was completely unreliable. Not sure how I can be the only one thinks the crashing isn't an issue. In the past 1/2 day, at least 25% of the time while using opera mini, the app crashed while simply using even Google. Completely unreliable.

It's not as good as it use to be It use to work great and lately it has been awful. It's so slow, freezes, and crashes a lot. It's very difficult to surf the web and forget shopping...it's way too slow! I ended up using another web browser and haven't had any issues with that one so I'm unistalliing this app.

3 Stars, It's OK Speed is okay. Very simple design. Ad-block included very awesome. But Adblock isn't working always good. Some annoying ads get through. Some download hosts doesn't really work. Example mega..link doesn't start up with mega app. I don't know why...I try'd with one other big Android browser.

Opera Mini is the best! I've tried many browser's and Opera Mini is the best by far! Those annoying ads are always blocked. The speed is amazing! Love the news updates and social media interests. You won't regret downloading this browser. Get it! I highly recommend.

No 1 idiot opera mini browser... I am connect to 4g and this browser says check network setting...i have experience crash hang with your browser. Very bad and when i am downloading mp3 file it says connection error or waiting for connection....what the hell is this buggy app....

feature request feature request. some website just won't work with extreme mode, so every time its a pain to switch. SOLUTION, make user able to keep setting for the web site. example site a will always open in extreme mode, but site b in normal mode.

Just wanna inform you the bug. When you tap the heads up notification of textra, hangouts or any messaging app and read the message while you are using opera mini, you will lose the navigation bar of the mini. The O logo will be gone. KINDLY NOTICE THIS.

Latest update - browsing facebook Since updating the facebook pages does not allow me to open any image or post when using opera mini. It simply refreshes the whole page and I lose the post I wanted to check out. Opera I mainly use for facenook and after the update is does not work the same anymore.

Thumbnails won't load This is the best mini browser app I have been using recently, but suddenly when I visit some sites that contain thumbnails pictures, the images just won't load, make me unable to choose the pic I want to save. Why is it? It was working before tough. Please fix if its an error.

Ultimate night mode feature Very good browser specially if one is a net surfing junkie at night.. i liked the night mode feature very very much.. cuz when i browse in dark the extreme night mode feature keeps my eye from swelling n pain.. from the harmful direct rays from the mobile screen.. so its very sexy feature.. sexy and horny app ..lol

Problems / HACK. Last Greenify update changed Opera Mini icon! BEWARE of Greenify app, it doesn't work anymore, it is impossible to uninstall, it appears to be hacked! Good work Opera Mini team.

Ok wee bit better I'm using a mobile phone so want to access mobile hotmail site, the browser obviously doesn't recognise mobile and opens full site which is not good, extreme data saving used to make it better less junk on page and no skype login and opened as mobile friendly, now it wont work??

Hi Mark, sorry to hear this. Is Extreme mode on or off? When Extreme mode is off, webpages should show up properly. When it is on, this may cause some pages not to show properly. My Best browser but Pay attention to FACEBOOK SITE. Opera Team, sorry to say but please pay attention for browsing in Facebook site. So many times page loading, when liking a photo, status, it remains unliked, same page loaded after hiting like button 2-3 times. Sometimes typing and clicking comment, comment doesn't appeared. Same page loaded again. Opera is best browser, so I am open heartly reporting my problem. PLEASE, RESOLVE SOON....

Love it so far. menu thing is too small and need several attempts to save offline.look like draining the battery fast. Used to last longer. Now 20% battery notification shows up often.At least twice in 15 hrs, even though my usage habits and websites have not changed.

Its getting bad. I used to really love opera but since the last few updates its get worst and worst. There are lots of connecting errors, texts are very small even when large is select and the start page which was a plus before is now the worst part. It show a lot of fake news sites and vulgar and offensive contents. There should be an option to have a blank start page.

Fast but (extreme mode) still messed up I gotta say this is very fast browser. But the problem is, sometimes open web or open in background doesn't load. I keep refreshing the page but it's still the same. Downloading file is very slow, buggy and sometimes it's disappear. I found the solution by turn off the extreme mode 😑 lol. But the download speed is still same both in extreme mode and general.

Causes lag on multi window mode in Android nougat Update 3: I want to uninstall it now, my phone buttons don't respond quickly when I'm in this app. It's getting worse with each update, there was a time when this was the one and only choice for low end phones, but now its a liability on my modern phone too. Update 2: Now it runs slower than chrome. Update: Still no multi window support :( . Old review: Add multi window support on nougat then I'll give 5 stars again

CONSUMES TOO MUCH OF RAM... CONSUMES TOO MUCH OF RAM... Very Slow. Need to improve a lot... Hangs every time.. Some files downloaded doesn't open in opera.. Even design and looks need to be improved...

Decent Browser with drawbacks The browser is OK. Doesn't always load pages correctly and some of the "news" items on Start page are downright offensive. Unlike Chrome or Firefox,, so learning curve is steep.

Crashes all the time now! 😠😡☔Uninstalling forever! Unfortunately opera mini has stopped message pops up when searching on Google and browser closes. Only have a few other tabs open in browser but there not active. Same thing is happening with opera mini beta browser as well! 😠 Must be all the updates you guys keep doing a couple times a week! I used to love your browsers but if this keeps up I'm going to uninstall both and go back to chrome and download Firefox or UC mini mwahaha! 😜😏😅😈😱🐙🍰

Most recent update is still broken. I love Opera Mini. It is my workhorse browser because of the handy data compression. I've only given it 2 stars because the recent update has made it unusable. When doing regular browsing, the browser will simply stop connecting to websites & will not be usable for hours at a time. When I turn on Extreme Mode, it won't connect to anything at all.You guys are great at getting things fixed, so hopefully you can get this remedied soon. I will raise your rating again when that happens.

Extreme Mode & Image as Toggle Undoubtedly this is best mobile browser since ages now. You've improved it dramatically in 2016. But now please add Plz Extreme Mode & Image as Toggle the way Ad block & Night mode are available as Toggle. PLEASE do add. Awaiting for long time.

Downloads is a problem First we keep download one any video then we pause the video and off mobile data 1 hour are 2 hours after we play the it showes failed download r ivalid link so pls check and do with another upgrade

FINALLY, A SCROLL BAR! So far this has been the ONLY mobile browser I've found that provides a scroll bar you can use to navigate long web pages, rather than manually swiping up or down repeatedly. Thank goodness. If I'm somewhere in the middle of a 50+ chapter online story (that's all on one page) when the page accidentally refreshes & returns to the top, it is a ROYAL PAIN to find my place again, without a damn scroll bar I can grab.
