1. Mary Frances McGowan named recipient of prestigious NBC / JCU “Meet the Press” Fellowship

   

   The John Carroll University senior is a double major in communications and political science. McGowan will gain experience in the research and production of the national weekly political talk show under the direction of the program’s executive producer in Washington, D.C.

2. John Carroll students named finalists in national “Medical Capital Innovation Competition”

   

   Two JCU students excel at the national Medical Capital Innovation Competition held at the Global Center for Health Innovation.

3. Ricardo Caraballo ’17 Awarded Fulbright Grant to Study in Japan

   

   During his 10 months in Japan as a Fulbright Fellow, he will conduct research on citizenship, including how individuals who hold dual citizenship choose which citizenship to keep. By law, they must make a choice when they turn 22.
