@elonmusk do you have an active mechanism to alternate/switch engines around if such thrust is low? Or are only 3 designed for entry/burn?

@danvitale There's no way to start the other engines in time if a fault appears. Interesting if they could plan based on launch data though.

@robertstar20 @danvitale also, would have to switch pairs of engines, to avoid asymmetrical thrust. and no backup if center engine out.

@orbitalpodcast @elonmusk IIRC there was a mention last time that the burns were 3-1 (shutdown of two engines for precision at landing)
