Every time I use Goog loc maps I am forced to call the biz for operating hours.  Just got the entirety of regular hours from a place so I could put them on their local page.  Unfortunately, this is not something I can update.  I can understand if this is for owners only, since some angry customers could show up. However, you could indicate that the hours were submitted by a user, and disclaim the possibility of unreliable information.  In fact, do this for everything, you'd get more businesses to sign up so they could clean up their pages.  P.S. Hire me.

Not only would a API to query business hours be useful, but also a API to submit user generated store hours. Thanks.

It would also be really useful if we could filter based on business hours... i.e. as part of the search API rather than a details request.  The alternative would be to call the details api for all results, but I'd imagine you'd hit the rate limit in that case.

I would like:
-Seasonal variations of opening hours
-Opening hours to be returned via the API

I thought at one point I did see hours of operation in the json for place details.  Now, after a few weeks they're gone!  Was I seeing things?  It will be VERY cool to have hours of operation in the json.

I would like to vote for this feature too. Using store hours in search criteria would be great too.

Is it possible to add/edit the opening hours of an existing place?

Batch create/edit from SQL database source is a must if you have > 10 shops. We have 130.....
