Old Delhi also had trams & the ubiquitous Phat Phati which were four seater motorbike autos powered by sturdy Harley Davidson engines & driven by even sturdier Sikh men. I remember tongas plying on sparsely crowded Delhi roads alongwith a few autos, cars & bicycles when I was growing up in the city during late 50s.
