Requirements

Our membership application process is designed for you to show off the things that make you an extraordinary trainer and for us to provide you with tools to help you grow as a professional. Get started by working through the Trainer Course and Skills Assessment to build upon your abilities to lead, coach, plan and deliver top-notch training.

Then, earn your Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certificates to help you understand how teachers experience Google tools in the classroom. Next, let your training experience shine on camera by filming a video to showcase your personality and instructional style. Finally, you’ll need to submit all of the above through the membership application portal below. Inside the application, we’ll be asking you a few questions about your training style and strategies. Membership Application Steps:
1. Trainer Course	Trainer Course Completing our Trainer Course (6-8 hours) will provide instruction on 1) Creating and Delivering Inspiring and Effective Training Plans and 2) Helping Educators Use Transformative Google Technologies. This course will help you bolster the training, leadership, and interpersonal relationship skills that make you an effective trainer. Click here to access.
2. Trainer Skills Assessment	Trainer Skills Assessment Pass the Trainer Skills Assessment. This exam tests your understanding of the Training Course and familiarity with Google for Education. The exam consists of 25 multiple choice and matching questions. You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Click here to access.
3. Google Certified Educator Level 1	Google Certified Educator Level 1 Take the Google Certified Educator Level 1 exam (2-3 hours) to assess your ability to successfully integrate Google tools into their teaching practice to enhance teaching and learning. This exam will help you build your confidence as you work with educators and Google tools.
4. Google Certified Educator Level 2	Google Certified Educator Level 2 Take the Google Certified Educator Level 2 exam (2-3 hours) to learn cutting-edge strategies for integrating a wider range of Google for Education tools and technologies in the classroom. 5. Film a Trainer Video	Film a Trainer Video [optional] Distinguish yourself by submitting a 3-minute video introducing who you are as a trainer (1-3 hours prep time). In the first minute, wow us by explaining why you wish to become a Trainer and what makes you unique and Googley! The final 2 minutes of the video should teach the audience how one feature of Google’s productivity suite, Chromebooks, Chrome, or Android Tablets can be innovatively applied in a classroom or school setting. Screencasts are preferred.
6. Apply	Apply Submit your membership application with the above materials (1-2 hour). You will also be asked to answer a series of short questions. Your responses will give us an understanding of your training experience, including planning, implementing, evaluating, and building learning materials.

Once you become a member of the program, we hope that you can begin sharing your knowledge and expertise of Google tools with your peers and fellow educators. Here are a few activities that successful Certified Trainers have pursued.

Activities
Conduct and report at least 12 training/coaching sessions per year
Share ideas and resources with our community of trainers
Resubmission of interest, including annual product update assessment
