Last week Bob Cornelius’s heart broke when he went to a back-to-school open house night and saw that his son Christopher, who has autism, responded “no one” on a worksheet when it asked who his friends were. Not only is he a father, but he’s also a social worker whose job it is to help other parents with the same situation. He posted a photo of the worksheet on the online and asked that people take time to send just a simple card to his son to show him that he DOES have friends in the world.

It was a warm August afternoon at the Kash household in Madison, Alabama. Maria stepped outside to call her 5 children to dinner from the backyard where they were playing.

One of her children, the spunkiest of the bunch, Alexandria, couldn’t be separated from the swing set. She was challenging her older sisters to a contest to see who could swing the highest. At the dinner table, Maria’s husband Travis served the two youngest boys while Maria returned from the fridge with orange juice. That’s when Maria’s oldest daughter came running to her in a panicked state. “Mom, Alex is doing this really weird shaking thing!”

The ‘weird shaking thing’ turned out to be Alex’s first seizure. One seizure turned into 3 in one month. Soon they were happening every morning and night. Over the span of a couple years, Alex’s condition degenerated to the point where she was having 400-500 seizures some days. The process not only left Alex incapacitated cognitively and physically for days on end, but it also left her parents and doctors mystified.

One thing was for sure, though. Alex wasn’t going to give in. She approached every day with a hunger and zeal for life. She had, of course, already beaten the odds.

Tattoos are as polarizing as politics while being as personal as an individual’s life story. Some ink is pure art while other tats carry significant meaning. Perhaps most meaningful of all, are tattoos meant to cover and carry on from traumatic scars and events. These tattoos and the accompanying stories may cause you to rethink judging someone for the art on their body.

After scoliosis spinal reconstruction surgery left her with this scar, she decided not to cover, but to use it to tell a story and inspire instead. The “S” in the tattoo traces out of where her spine actually was before the surgery. Tattoo or not, no one will ever doubt her strength.

Aside from being one of the world's most groovy guys, Bruce is quite the scholar, having read about an array of unique & interesting influential people throughout time that have helped shape his philosophy on life. I can say without hesitation that Bruce absolutely lived up to the lifetime of hype we'd built-up in our minds. And you guys are going to love listening to every once of this wild conversation!

We’re also so excited to continue watching Bruce and company kickass in Season 2 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead, which kicks off Sunday Oct. 2nd on the Starz network!!

Kendal Divarco, who recently won a modeling contest, was excited to be flown out to Vegas for a photoshoot at the upscale Green Valley resort. However, unbeknownst to her, her dad would also be staying at the exact same hotel for a work convention, which gave Kendal's dad a devilish little idea -- he would recreate, shot-for-shot, her entire photoshoot. Divarco's Dad pulled up all of his daughter’s modeling shots and mimicked them, even getting the locations correct.

When asked later by BuzzFeed, Kendal said that she wasn't surprised by her dad's gag as her "parents have always done crazy things." She continued, “But I am a little upset my dad looked better than I did in most of them.”

We first launched our KCCO Thin Blue Line T-shirt back in July in response to the tragic shootings in Dallas. Not an identical twin. But I worked retail for a few years and had a lot of regular customers. This one girl would come in and she was awesome, she loved the product, always made conversation over what she was doing, what she had done, we always connected. Sometimes she would initiate the conversation, sometimes I would. Never really learned her name, which is pretty embarrassing in sales.
About a year and a half after knowing her, she walks in one day and I wave to her, she excitedly waves back. All of a sudden, a perfect fucking clone, in a similar outfit but different colors, walks out from behind her. My jaw literally dropped, I was in disbelief. I had been talking to two twin sisters thinking they were the same person for over a year.
