Junior Account Representative

This is not your average media sales team. Digg is nothing without the trust of our readers, and we find that building the best experience for them is also the best experience for our brand partners. We’re investing in creative and native advertising that is honest, interesting and valuable to both brands and consumers.

Our team uses a combination of proprietary data streams and creative judgment to deliver the greatest and most compelling stories to our readers. This method has trained us to both recognize and create content that resonates with our audience, as well as the Internet at large. If we were the type of people who’d say jargon like, “it’s data-driven advertising,” this is the part of this spiel where we’d say it.

Still excited? Read on.

You’ll be joining as an Account Representative, helping our team to build valuable partnerships with both growing and established brands. For this role, we are looking for smart, energetic individuals with a can-do attitude, who enjoy working in a team, love the excitement of finding new partnerships, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Our business team is small but scrappy, so we’re looking for a self-motivated person who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of the media landscape, has a great sense of humor and thrives under pressure. You will be supporting the full range of activities that a business team at a growing startup is responsible for, including conduct market research, generate sales leads, reach out to prospects, craft creative proposals, manage client relationships and create performance reports. You will have the opportunity to build and hone your analytical skills, creative thinking, and operational sensibilities.

Previous experience in a digital media sales role is preferred. Love of puns and Sichuan food are a major plus.
