Bug with DirectionsService and text links. When clicking on a text link - the text links are created by the DirectionsRenderer in the HTML element defined using setPanel() - the very first click on a link in the panel pans the map to a seemingly random location. Click any other link - NOT the link you originally clicked - and all works as expected - the map pans and zooms in on the location that the link refers to and displays the infowindow. Try it on this example page from the documentation: https://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/directions-panel.html Choose an origin and/or destination - the panel to the left of the map displays the text directions/links. Click any link and the map pans and zooms to seemingly random location. It should center on the part of the directions route that the clicked on link refers to and display an infowindow. Try again - choose a new origin and/or destination. Click any link in the panel - the maps pans and zooms but not to where it should do. Now do not click another link - simply try and drag the map - the map instantly redraws itself at where it should have been when the link was clicked - even the infowindow is visible. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and have found this behaviour on all browsers i have installed: Firefox 8.0 Internet Explorer 9 Chrome 15.0.874.120 Opera 11.52 Safari 5.1.1 The bug also occurs on Windows 7 32 bit with Chrome 15.0.874.120.
