At this time, Carleton University does not offer any full undergraduate programs online. But CUOL does offer a large number of credit courses online to help you start or complement a degree program.
Graduate programs
Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership
The MPNL is a 6.5 credit degree which consists of 11 courses (worth 0.5 credits each) plus a ‘capstone’ research project that integrates learning and applies it to a practical issue (worth 0.5 credits).
You will acquire a foundational knowledge of philanthropy and nonprofit leadership through seven required courses. You may then tailor the program to your own interests in either philanthropy or the leadership of nonprofit organizations. You may also take courses that provide knowledge of a policy field (such as health or education) or the international context.

Indigenous Policy and Administration
Carleton offers two graduate diplomas in Indigenous Policy and Administration as well as a concentration in IPA as part of our MA in Public Administration. The IPA programs provide students with the tools, knowledge and capacity to bridge multiple world views, and enable managers and administrators who work in Indigenous governance and administration to strengthen their organizations and incorporate community-based, Indigenous knowledge.
The Diploma in IPA consists of six courses delivered through an intensive on-campus IPA Summer Institute and online. Find out more about the program and course information.
