The word count noted at the bottom of the word online document is incorrect. It counts words with apostrophes (e.g., "can't") as 3 words instead of 1. Please fix the Word Online word count feature. Thank you!

An automatic function to show a list of words with their explanations. The words you like to have in the glossary you mark with one of the templates. Later you just select to insert a glossary list and then you just have to fill in the definitions. You should be able to print this out as well.

Word Automation Services as standalone library.

File Conversion and manipulation tasks are very actual for now days, we have open xml sdk but it only support docx, we definitely need conversion library too.

Most time we need just Word automation services, and for it we have to install Win Server, SQL Server, Share point. That too hevy for kind of task. Please make Word Automation Services as standalone product or library.

Word Online needs to be up to date. Everyone these days are using Google to share and make changes to documents at the same time. Microsoft word online, takes longer to load compare to google and theres less features.

Currently the content of Content Controls is read-only in the document. Please add the functionality for a user to edit the content of content controls in Word Online.
In addition to that, events in Word-specific Javascript API would be needed to act on the change.

As an editor, my customers need to see what changes I have made in their documents and I need to see what changes they make.

Formatting changes (particularly spacing) when moving from Word Online to Word local.

For example, when adding a space between two paragraphs in Word Online, it doesn't convert to a space in Word local. The paragraphs end up conjoined.

Vice versa, when you add a space in Word local between two paragraphs, two spaces are added in Word Online, making the online version very... spacey.

Please let me know if you need anything from my end to help make this change. It would save me a lot of time. Thank you!

I think word should have an additional layout so that for young writers they can create drafts on book like pages.

if you were at work or school and you forgot you had a project, on your phone you can just type what you need and send it to your computer and print it when you get home( basically make a word app for your phone and you can send what you type anywhere)
