Automotive Test Events

Automotive testing events offer members who are developing hands-free and mobile devices an opportunity to improve product interoperability and the Bluetooth automotive user experience. Testing is focused on use cases of mobile devices, hands-free car kits and headsets with the Profile Testing Suite (PTS). The automotive test events are open to all member levels for a small non-refundable registration fee.

UnPlugFest (UPF)

Test your Bluetooth® technology products against other unreleased and unannounced products and prototypes coming soon.

UPFs are nonprofit interoperability testing events the Bluetooth SIG offers as an added benefit to members. Interoperability of Bluetooth products on the market is critical to the success of the technology so we work very hard to make sure everything just “works” for consumers.

Download the following documents to learn more about UPFs and if your company should attend to ensure interoperability of your Bluetooth product. You will need to login to access the documents:

Interoperable Prototype Test Events (IOP)

Interoperability issues lead to incompatibilities between devices often cannot be resolved once they reach the marketplace. Interoperability is essential to all Bluetooth technology solutions.

IOPs are periodically offered to help SIG members verify new specifications during the prototyping phase and foster interoperability in scenarios where additional attention is requested by members. These events are tailored for a specific industry segment or a specific specification version. For a list of upcoming UPF and Formal IOP opportunities, please visit the UPF and Formal IOP events page here.
