Ubuntu Phone and Smart Devices certification guarantees that smart devices are supported in standard Ubuntu releases. Our engineering teams work with Smart Device vendors to include the necessary hardware enablement code, stabilize the core system, and verify specific applications and workloads function optimally on the platform. Certification is annual and covers two Ubuntu releases for their support duration.
