    git may be a pain to learn, but when I decided a major change I'm working on might not be worthwhile, I just 1) created a new branch for the update and 2) reverted my existing branch to a previous commit. IT WAS LIKE MAGIC.

    I've updated the article to note that myvector[['mykey']] will also extract the value from an named vector. In other words, using double brackets is an alternative to unname(myvector['mykey']). Thanks for the useful tip !
