    Hi your computer systems are glitchy! Wouldn't deliver b/c my address had apt number on the same line as street number. Tried to fix online but the system mangled it to go to a wrong street AND wrong zip code. Customer service says $5 fee to fix error your system created!

    Dear editors of top medical journals: Time to drop "statistical significance". It is arbitrary, misleading, and hardly scientific. Even the American Statistical Assoc. says so. Let's join forces to improve medical research reporting.

    Abstract of an RCT in 11/1/18 issue of NEJM: Relative risk of mortality: 0.88; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.76 to 1.01). Mortality did not differ significantly between the two groups at 1 year of follow-up. Is this how a leading medical journal should be reporting results?

    Perhaps conferences should think about supplying their own interpreters depending on demand, though I don't know anything about the logistics involved

    Glad my interpreters are making an impression at . Hopefully we can use this to start a conversation. We don't see this often because there are very few deaf people in STEM. What can we do to address systematic barriers in STEM?
