    In 1960 Nehru visited Gaza and here is a photo of him at the Palestinian legislative council, shaking hands with Palestinian leaders. The library of my university in Gaza is named after Nehru, and his name stands big and shines in the heart of Gaza city celebrating his legacy.

    I read this paragraph about Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister In 1947, and had to put my phone down and reflect for two minutes. Absolutely remarkable. Compare this to India’s current regime and the small man leading it. The heart aches.
