    That’s fantastic!

    a friend got me this sign yesterday as part of a clearout at a former water treatment works. Its still very reflective and isn't faded! It's nice to see old signs appreciated, even better to own one!

    Plenty of symbols at Marsden, West Yorkshire. Are you aiming to capture all of the tourist symbols in your project?

    missed getting a BBS on motorway sliproad grr, but I did manage these whizzing past in my mate's car on my brief trip to the NE last weekend. Saw a few that have already had blue removed & one barely hanging in there

    finally!! it's only taken me a year lol. This is the sign I saw in Newcastle then had problems getting a photo of. I've also got a couple of blue borders from my day out Bank Holiday. will upload those tomorrow.

    Blue border has almost peeled away - but I guess luckily there’s no finance for a replacement any time soon 😏

    I hate the abbreviation too. But it's not as bad as this egregious example on the Gatwick M23 spur. Was there really no scope for a second 'o' in London!?

    The whole thing’s a complete eyesore. The panel overhanging the end looks really sloppy and the massive truss with two piddly signs balanced on top is really ugly. What’s with the trend for massive gantries supporting tiny signs with small x-height?

    J10 of the M23 still has this backlit beauty which, presumably, dates from opening. I’m guessing any replacement would now show “London (A23)” as the M23’s northern end is somewhat curtailed
