    Worth noting that every Democrat I know counts Medicare as “coverage.” Medicare doesn’t have lifetime limits.

    But CBO is saying that, for example, low life-time caps on coverage would be counted as not covered, right?

    CBO explicitly says that if ACA regulations are repealed, its definition of coverage would change to a non-ACA definition.

    Gotcha - and wouldn’t those be some of the plans available under GOP alternatives, with no EHB or lifetime/annual limits?

    CBO saying that plans should cover “major medical” claims—catastrophic medical bills of all or most kinds. Catastrophic+HSA plans do that.

    That's not an accurate read of the CBO's comments as far as I can tell--CBO counts consumer-directed health plans as coverage.

    CBO says it won’t count minimal insurance products as coverage, which makes GOP replacement math a bit harder.

    Maybe you should have re-thought pushing a poorly designed bill on a party line vote that affected 20% of the economy, but that's just me.
