I use mine at work all the time too! I just can't seem to go anywhere without it. I can tell that as impressive of a beamshot as this is, that's not even max output (I think)! Beautiful shot!
I did have the output maxed in this photo, but keep in mind it was completely dark in the theater. My iPhone camera was on auto. Look how it lights up essentially the rest of the room as well.
I truly love the beam profile of this light. I can reach out and touch something in the dark, but it’s not the lightsaber point of light that my Convoy C8 is. I think I’ve become addicted to my tint choice though. XP-L HI V2 5D is just the most consistently creamy warm light I’ve had the pleasure to use but still has the punch to really reach out into the night. What battery are you running by the way? I love my Keeppower IMR 5200 mAh for run time, but I think I could punch up the output if I new of a good, reliable and high amperage 26650. Any suggestions?
I agree, I think the beam profile is perfect. Not too throwy, but throwy enough to see something far away. And not entirely flood like the D4, but floody enough to use at extremely close range as well. The Aux LEDs are so damn cool. Perfect night light stuck to the metal leg on my bedside table.
I use the Shockli 5500. Haven't had time to test anything else yet. I'd love to hear what other people have used successfully though.

I'm a mac user as well and I was running my rsp2 on cubic until I tried running sdruno through parallels. Works like a charm.
