There's a world of software out there where there are lots more reads than writes, where eventually consistent data ok, and where relational, table-based data storage just isn't required. The NoSQL group of data servers are here to give developers another option for storing their data, in a much more flexible way. In this session, we'll take a look primarily at RavenDB, a NoSQL database that lives & breathes.NET, from top to bottom. There's no need for an ORM, as your objects are what's stored; indexes are created on the fly (and are made out of LINQ queries), and there's a full RESTful API serving up JSON if you need that wort of thing as well. We'll also take a look at DocumentDB, Microsoft's Azure-hosted NoSQL solution, along with a few more options available out there. Starting from 6:30PM to 8PM
