I find Wikipedia to be a treasure trove of information, but often times it seems like a pedagogical nightmare when trying to learn certain material.
For instance, when looking up certain terms in a subject which each reference a bajillion other terms in that subject, leading to a sort of black hole of intra-Wikipedia hyperlinking that makes it nearly impossible to find a pedagogical anchor point from which I can build a solid understanding of a topic.
Does anyone else have a similar experience? How do you navigate Wikipedia? Which links to other Wikipedia articles to you pass over while reading through the current article?
Keep in mind I'm referring only to hyperlinks within the text of the article, not the outside references or the "See Also" sections.
