Improved hashtags and more in Plus for #Trello!
★ New hashtags pick-list
★ "Recurring" check inside cards.
★ Improved Chrome icon looks (no more rainbowish icon)
★ New preference to never show spent on the Chrome icon

The hashtags list shows all used hashtags across all boards. Hashtags are searchable from reports and the Chrome Plus menu.
You can still add hashtags/recurring by editing the card title, this is just an easier way and helps to standardize hashtags.

Also, Plus now works with "Trello beta" multi-language feature which Trello will soon release. Plus is ready for it.

enjoy!

Disregard! lol...I answered my own question, when I updated all of my tags. Apparently the tag only exists in the drop down, if the tag actually exists in a card. Very clever. I like it!

New in Plus for #Trello !
edit R in the card s/e "modify", which is now the default edit field. This helps in the most common cases when you want to modify total E but dont want to do the math for reaching a certain R. To make R=0 simply delete the selected "R" from the field.

Draft s/e row remembers any card s/e that you typed but didn't enter. Great to pause timers without having to keep the card open, or when you lost internet connection and can't Enter the card s/e. Next time you open the card, your draft s/e/note will be ready to Enter. Plus will remember (only on your computer) an unlimited number of draft s/e.

No more alerts when the extension is updated. This update is the last one that causes Plus to show an alert when Chrome updates the extension while you are using it (so to not bother you for this last time, I updated the extension on a Sunday)

Compatibility with CardCounter extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cardcounter-for-trello/miejdnaildjcmahbhmfngfdoficmkdhi

enjoy!

Lots of new stuff in Plus for #Trello !
★  Pick the user and any date in the past in the s/e card bar.

★  Report column sort by just clicking headers. Shift-click for multiple column sort.

★  Report pivot by year.

★  Full multiple keyword support (s/e card bar, report filters and groups.) Rows you already entered before this will work fine, they did have the keyword saved but wasn't shown in reports until now.

★  New help link to a "Donations" blog post where you can verify that your donation was counted in the sum. Just click on total donations in Plus help and match your donation. It never shows donor names, only date, amount and last 4 digits of the Paypal reference.

To use multiple keyword features you need to have more than one keyword in your list (excluding the legacy 'plus s/e' if you have it).

Now the s/e card bar can do almost everything that a direct s/e card comment did except the ability to enter s/e for multiple users at once on a single entry which is still only possible as a direct card comment.

enjoy! donate!

+Vei Han yes midterm I want to add support for s/e at the task level. however so far I havent come up with a good way to do the interface.  May not be able to support s/e by card comments in that case but its doable.

About the dealio:

I love Trello. I use it to manage projects with my clients. I find that its easy to use and they don't have to LEARN another application. I have separate lists for the various stages of a projects. Things get moved around as I'm working on them and the client approves the stuff. Saves a LOT on on those little emails (you can't seem to find). One important list I created on the client's project board was Q&A...where its basically a place for them to ask me any questions and I answer it right there. :)

This is a seriously brilliant way to use Trello for managing multiple clients' blog content!

I'm a big fan of Trello, but never really figured out on my own how to effectively manage blog content for multiple clients via a single Trello board.

Amen for +Abbie Reedy and Heroic Search--They've created a multi-client content calendar template that absolutely rocks!

I will definitely be using this approach. Thanks Abbie!

Managing content for multiple clients is no simple task. A coherent editorial calendar can help content teams keep all their plates spinning.

Why I Love Trello!

As a former legal assistant, being organized was a must.

But for some reason, why I started blogging, all of that went out the window. I had no schedule, no calendar, no real "To Do List". (Unless you count crumpled up napkins)

It wasn't too bad until I started guest posting. I was becoming stressed, overwhelmed, and my brain was going into overdrive from trying to remember what I was suppose to do.

Then I discovered +Trello!  An organization freak's dream!!

Not only was I able to find a great editorial calendar to copy (for free!), I was able to put together a daily, weekly, and monthly blogging list.

Trello is a fantastic tool, and works great for collaboration projects too.

Plus for Trello

Hi all! Plus for Trello is a Chrome extension and Android app (soon for iOS too) that adds time-tracking features to #Trello.

Its free, open-source without ads. Look at the reviews in the chrome store! Plus already has over one year being used by thousands of teams. It has always been super fast and bug-free with zero downtime.

Some features are useful even if you don't use time-tracking: hashtags, the Plus boards & cards menu or pinning cards to your phone (on Android).

Enter spent and estimate per card. Make reports, burn-downs and charts inside trello or offline. Group, filter and pivot based on date, user, card, list, board etc. Compare original versus final estimates, search boards and cards instantly even offline.

The android app has just started development and already supports cool features like pinning a card to your phone notification bar.
More info on the android app: http://plusfortrello.blogspot.com/2015/01/mobile-plus-for-trello.html
Enjoy!

Timers revolution!
Revamped #trello timers now stay always visible as top-most panels even if you close Chrome! As usual, active timers sync to all your devices instantly when you are signed-in to Chrome.
Timers will stay up and work even after Chome upgrades Plus to a new version.

Collapsible Plus S/E charts and lists in Trello home into a single line. Very convenient to reach the boards below or just to open it whenever you want.

Improved "Recent S/E" home section now groups by card. See grouped information by mousing-over each line. This makes the list more compact while still showing your last 10 S/E entries.

Note that "Chrome panels" is a new Chrome feature that you need to enable in Chrome by following the instructions inside the timer popup once you start a timer. Otherwise the timer will show as a regular popup which is still cool but it won't stay on top of other windows.

Enjoy! donate? http://plusfortrello.com for the free Chrome extension and Android app.

10 new Plus for #Trello improvements!
E 1ˢᵗ column in full reports just like inside cards.

Much faster reports and with lower memory usage. Very noticeable when making reports on thousands of rows of data.

Extension now loads faster. Specially noticeable when using a bad quality connection or behind a firewall.

Easier to read reports by making zero values transparent just like pivots did.

Home charts drill-down on cards now keeps the drill-down window open behind the opened card. Easily go back to the drill-down window after closing the card window.

Reports zoom-in on year pivot cells into a monthly pivot.

More report filters auto-complete and drop-lists for date "advanced" week and month.

Google translate extension and chrome right-click translate support (by not translating key data like user names)

Removed install permission need for spreadsheets.google.com. Now requested only when using legacy "google sync".

Fix: no-crop in reports and pivots works again for board and card columns.

enjoy!

Many improvements and request for your comments on color changes!

Reports and burn-downs

★  Exact date range filter support under date "advanced". Filter by year, month, week or full date ranges.

★  Burn-down zooming and panning.

★  Report results date column now includes time of day.

★  Tooltips show week number in rows and chart points on hover.

★  Report group by "card-user" now also shows cards without S/E (blank user) just like group by "card" does.

This "card-user" grouped report is a very practical way to monitor all your boards with a single report. Set date to "all" and sort by "user" to quickly list all pending team work. Cards never estimated will show at the bottom with a blank user. The total report "R" is your current team load. To just see R per user (without card detail) group by "user" instead.

Color and layout changes

Many of you wrote to us about our changes and most were very happy. A few users said they miss the old colors in S/E or hashtags so do comment about your likes and dislikes here.

We believe now Plus is much better integrated and will not distract you from other #Trello features:

★  Support all the new Trello label colors when using the preference "Set the card background based on its first label color".

★  Hashtags containing "!" show in bright yellow.

★  Layout and color changes to white card S/E and hashtags.

★  Visual changes in Trello home.

★  Don't show the card "S/E bar" until Plus icon clicked.

★ Report results board and card links are not underlined for a cleaner look.

If you missed the poll, look at the previous post.

Happy New features in Plus for #Trello 3.5!
Board dimensions ✰ to view board S/E using various filters.

Dimensions are useful when using multiple keywords or card title Estimates to keep parallel board measures.

One popular such method is to assign #scrum points in the early board stages without having to bother distributing to specific users. The dimensions page below explains how to easily set-up such systems and still keep using more formal S/E in later stages.

Do you have a report of all your card due dates across all #trello boards?
Now you do.

We now support card due dates in reports. The "due date" column shows when grouping by card or card-user. Sort by "due date" from the top filter.

Later we will take better advantage of those due dates based on your feedback (show reminders, filter by due date ranges, integrate with Google calendar and so on).

Combine due dates with a "remaining" report to easily detect due dates in risk or better optimize team load.

enjoy!

Trello add-on testers wanted

Inspired and intrigued by all the talk of Trello a little while back (+Zig Mandel) I'm developing an GSheets add-on for the bulk creation of Trello cards (ultimately for syncing the two). You can see the code at https://goo.gl/MSciJm and drop me a line if you'd like to help test the add-on.

+Menachem Tauber You've probably not got the extra libraries installed. I've added a section in the Github README (https://github.com/andrewroberts/TrelloSync/blob/master/README.md) listing what you'll need. But looking at it I think I can see another problem, so I'll drop you a line once I've put a new version on Github.
